Brushy Creek Elementary, Mitchell Road Elementary and Northwood Middle Schools will be in for a treat when the Eastside Drumline performs its marching percussion enesemble entitled "Signs." The Eastside Drumline will also perform as "dinner music" at lunch time.

The percussion ensemble also includes mallet percussion, auxilary percussion and a synthesizer integrated into the music. Eastside Percussion, under the direction of Chuck Capps (band director) and Jim Irish (Director of Percussion Studies), is making themselves available as a resource for related arts. There is no charge for a demonstration or performance.

Eastside is on a mission to make younger students aware of the fun of playing percussion. Percussion studies are also proven to increase IQ scores, math and reading grades, athletic skills and more!

For information please call the band room at 292-7732 or 292-8545.
